Because I’ve been interviewed so many times, we thought it’d be fun to turn the tables and create a little book about some of the things I love. Inside, you’ll get a peek at my New York closet; check out personal photos of me and my husband, Nick; go behind the scenes of my new film, Precious; and hear about my creative process as a singer, songwriter, and producer—past, present, and future. You’ll also find out about my latest fragrance, my travel must-haves, the six items on the top of my wish list, and much more. Before you flip the page, I’d also like to thank Island Def Jam Chairman L.A. Reid, who thought it would be cool to partner with ELLE on this project.
